The Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) will hold its first major event of the year at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre and Showground from Friday 6 – Sunday 8 February.
The Newcastle Expo will showcase over 200 exhibits displaying all the latest motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, tents and camping gear, accessories and holiday park destinations and provides the perfect way to see everything on offer and help you plan your next getaway.
“2015 has kicked off a bumper caravan and camping holiday season, with parks up and down the coast and across the state accommodating a huge number of visitors who have enjoyed the ultimate Aussie holiday experience,” CCIA NSW CEO Lyndel Gray said.
“Caravan and camping holidays are continuing to grow in popularity, and there is something to appeal to all types of travellers.
"Whether you’re towing a caravan or camper trailer, driving in your motorhome, staying in a tent or indulging in a luxury cabin, NSW holiday parks offer the freedom and flexibility that we all want from our holiday."
Over 2.2 million domestic holiday visitors stayed in a holiday park in NSW in the 12 months to September 2014.
As the State’s peak industry body, the CCIA represents over 400 holiday parks and over 200 product retailers, dealers and manufacturers throughout NSW. The Newcastle Expo is one of four major consumer shows conducted by the CCIA each year.
The Newcastle Caravan, Camping and Holiday Expo takes place over three days, Friday 6th to Sunday 8th February with gates open from 9am-5pm (closes 4pm Sunday). Tickets are $12 for Adults, $8 Concession and children 16 and under are free with an accompanying adult.
