New Year, New Ideas from London & Partners at Excursions 2013

Louisa Jackley, Senior Marketing Manager for London & Partners leisure tourism commented: “2012 has been an incredible year for London but it’s out with the gold and in with the new. This show is a great opportunity for us to connect with the group travel trade, and we’re delighted to support this fantastic exhibition once again to let everyone know how their customers can benefit from the amazing legacy that the Olympic and Paralympic Games in the capital has provided.”

Highlights for the year for groups include: the opening of The Shard in February, (the highest viewing point in Western Europe -nearly twice as high as any other view in the city), ZSL London Zoo which will be welcoming its new flagship exhibit Tiger Territory in April and the re-opening of The Olympic Park as the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in July just ahead of London’s newest cycling festival – RideLondon on 3 and 4 August.

London & Partners, the mayor’s official promotional organisation for London, will be taking a stand (L01) along with many of the capital’s industry partners including: Ambassador Theatre Group, BBC Tours, City of London Corporation, Encore, Houses of Parliament, Orient Express Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Air Force Museum, Royal Albert Hall Tours, Royal Opera House, Shakespeare's Globe, Tate, The Household Cavalry Museum, The Wallace Collection, Tower Bridge Exhibition, Visit Greenwich, Warner Bros.
