China Tourism to Celebrate this Year with Increased International Travelers

In contrast to the south-east Asian countries like India, Singapore, Maldives and Thailand, China remains the leader in terms of resourceful travel destination of Asia. The onset of this New Year should enhance their chances in world travel market and help them establish their name on the map of hot tourism destinations in the world.

Asia remains the powerhouse for world tourism growth this year with strong growth of 7% in outbound travel as incomes rise and consumers are able to travel more. The outlook for 2013 is even stronger, experts said at the World Travel Monitor Forum in Pisa.

All international tourists who want to benefit from the 72-hour visa-free stay policy should meet some conditions when they enter the country at Beijing Capital International Airport. The policy offers a 72-hour visa-free stay in Beijing for foreigners of approved countries with effect from January 1st 2013.

Recently, a group of guides who are good at English are organized to learn some related knowledge; at the appointed time, they will provide guide, consult and some other services in the International area with those foreign tourists.

In addition, the airport terminal has installed free-visa stay tourists’ exclusive service areas for providing drinking water and reading service. It will also set up exclusive service space offering mobile phone rental, foreign currency exchange, car rental, luggage deposit and some services for free-visa stay tourists.

Considering the travel convenience of transit tourists, the Capital International Airport will build tour bus parking space and bus shelter in the front traffic area.
