The 17th East Mediterranean International Tourism and
Travel Fair (EMITT) began in Istanbul, Turkey on a warm note on January 24.
Regarded as the fifth organisation in the world in tourism sector, EMITT is
drawing interest from local and foreign tourism companies. It is certain that,
the four-day EMITT Fair will break a new record with its 4.500 participants
from 70 countries in 2013.
East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair
EMITT, which will be held 17th time between 24-27 January 2013 in TUYAP,
achieves a new record each year due to number of participants. As of October
2012, 4.500 local and foreign tourism companies from 70 countries made
applications to EMITT which made it reach the world’s 5th tourism and trade
fair. EMITT Fair 2012 was the scene of wide participation from Turkey and
around the world which gained major success by performing the participation
record again with 128 thousand visitors.
