On Dec. 21, Spring Airlines has introduced its pioneer "Micro-blog Seat Selection" program, which covers most of domestic and international routes operated by the budget airline. Passengers should bind their Sina Weibo account before booking the flights, so that they could check the information of other Weibo users who have reserved the seats and to select their own seat according to the Weibo information of other passengers.

Spring Airlines said, by promoting "Micro-blog Seat Selection", passengers can select seat according to the interests and hobbies of the person seats next to them. And with the same interests, they will have more common topics, so that it will make their journey more pleasant and relaxed. For instance, they can share their traveling experience with each other, or even can take the same taxi after their arrival at the destination.

It's very easy to use "Micro-blog Seat Selection". Firstly, you need to create an account in official website of Spring Airlines, and bind it with your Sina Weibo account. Secondly, you need to complete your personal information. After that, you can proceed to the normal flight booking procedure until the seat selection page. Thirdly, the seat selection game is started.

In the seat selection page, if a seat has been occupied by a Sina Weibo user, you can see the user's profile picture and sex. If you want to know more about the user, you need to click the "share" button in the page to authorize access to your Weibo personal information, and share with others. After that, passengers could know the information of Weibo user accounts of passengers who have occupied the seats, whether they have been verified, and so on.
