Hilton Brisbane Sponsors Flagship Exhibition, The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial Of Contemporary Art (APT7)


Hilton Brisbane continues to solidify its place iin Brisbane's vibrant cultural landscape, partnering with the Queensland Art Gallery I Gallery of Modern Art for the flagship exhibition, The 7th Asia Pacific Triennial (APT) of Contemporary Art.

APT7 marks the twentieth anniversary of the APT, and following Hilton Brisbane's recent 25th Anniversary celebrations, the hotel has been privileged to witness the unprecedented transforming landscapes in Australia, Asia and the Pacific over the past two decades.

Hilton Brisbane General Manager Martin Kendall says he is proud to play an active role as a key tourism partner of this landmark event which continues to embed the relationship between Hilton Brisbane and the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art namely the joint commitment to showcase Brisbane as a premier cultural destination.

This collaboration marks the fourth partnership between the two destination icons and follows the recent success of 'Portrait of Spain: Masterpieces from the Prado'.

The four month long APT exhibition features new and recent works by 75 senior and emerging artists and groups from 27 countries across the region and welcomes guests from 8 December 2012 to 14 April 2013.
