Australia is getting ready for a spectacular Christmas celebration as Michael Boyd presents The Christmas Spectacular – A Magical Wonderland, touring nationally from 5 to 23 December 2026.

Now in its sixth year, the festive production brings together grand illusion, live music, circus, dance and Christmas classics for an entertaining experience designed for audiences of all ages. The 2026 tour will visit Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Led by internationally acclaimed illusionist Michael Boyd and The Voice finalist and musical theatre performer Prinnie Stevens, The Christmas Spectacular combines spectacular stage illusions with music, dance and circus entertainment.

Prinnie Stevens leads the musical program with Christmas favourites and contemporary festive songs, while Michael Boyd brings large-scale illusions and magical surprises to the stage. The official production describes the show as a 90-minute celebration featuring songs, dance, world-class performers and festive magic.

The 2026 Christmas Spectacular opens at Melbourne's Palais Theatre on Saturday 5 December, with performances at 2pm and 6.30pm.

The tour then travels to Canberra Theatre Centre on Saturday 12 December, before arriving at Sydney's State Theatre for performances on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December. Both Sydney dates feature 2pm and 6.30pm performances.

The festive journey continues to the Gold Coast on Tuesday 22 December at The Star, followed by the final performances at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday 23 December at 2pm and 6.30pm.
