Out and about with ACB

Friday, 29 April ACB took 16 Auckland-based incentive event professionals on a whistle-stop tour of central Auckland and Muriwai, to explore some of the highlights of Tāmaki Makaurau’s rugged west coast backyard - an incentive destination that will surprise and amaze even the most well-travelled guests.

First stop was a sneak peek of the uber-luxurious superyacht Rua Moana, before fuelling up with a delicious breakfast in the Park Hyatt’s loft kitchen – the perfect place for cooking demonstrations or interactive experiences with the Park Hyatt’s world-class chefs.

Leaving the city behind, it was a leisurely 40-minute scenic drive west to KULA Muriwai, a purpose-built wellness retreat. Set on sprawling lawns with breath-taking views, the adjacent architecturally designed house offers further event possibilities with its fabulous open-plan entertainment area. A stroll through the edible garden at Good From Scratch, Mike and Belinda Van de Elzen’s farm to plate cooking school, whet appetites before dining in The Gallery, Parihoa Farm’s largest event space with views over the ocean and rolling hills.

Muriwai Estate, an effortlessly chic Mediterranean-inspired villa, is an entertainer's dream. Boarding Explore Group’s Peretū at Hobsonville Point, the group was treated to a cocktail masterclass with Black Pineapple while admiring the Auckland cityscape on a cruise back to the city.

A visit to Cocoon House, a boutique venue perfect for exclusive and intimate gatherings, was followed by hosted drinks and canapes at the Cordis Auckland’s impressive new club lounge in the Pinnacle Tower.

After an action-packed day, the group was then treated to a luxurious stay in the Pinnacle Tower’s stylish and well-appointed executive suites.
