Step off the beaten path and head to Iya Valley!

The Kazura bridge
Hidden in the mountains of Shikoku Island, the Iya Valley in Tokushima Prefecture sits at the meeting point of two rivers surrounded by mountains, and is home to some of the country's most stunning sceneries.

The Kazura bridge located within the valley is an extraordinary structure made of natural vines, and a call for anyone adventurous to cross it!

Much of the lifestyle in Iya remains unchanged for around 300 years, so if you've ever dreamed of experiencing the Japan of yesteryear, step off the beaten path and head to Iya Valley!
