US National and State Parks start to reopen

With restrictions slowly being lifted a few National and State Parks that are beginning to reopen around the US. 

Moraine State Park Butler County, Pittsburgh, PA 
Butler County, an hour’s drive from Pittsburgh, offers wide-open spaces with access to outdoor pursuits. 

Moraine State Park celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and the 16,725-acre park is still open offering outdoor enthusiasts 71 miles of trails and 42 miles of shoreline.

A phased reopening of Colarado’s national parks is being planned. These include the Rocky Mountain National Park, which spans the Continental Divide and has protected mountains, forests and alpine tundra. 

Located in Western Colorado, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, surrounds a deep, steep-walled gorge carved through Precambrian rock by the Gunnison Riverhas.

Some State Parks in Seattle reopened on 5 May for recreational and the other National Parks in the state are slowly being reopened in a phased plan. Mt. Rainier National Park offers some of the best opportunities for adventure, exploration and learning in Seattle.
