The Grand Café has taken measures to safeguard its staff and guests, including gloves and masks worn by all staff, a oneway circulation system, alcoholic hand gel and the removal of almost half the tables.
Traditional menus have been placed with a QI code which, when scanned by a smart phone or tablet, delivers menus direct to the device. The hotel itself is planning to open from 1 September 2020.
