Reef House awarded 2019 Cairns Restaurant of the Year

We are thrilled to announce that the Reef House has taken home the award for Cairns Restaurant of the Year. The win has brought the title home to the Coral Sea lapped shores of Palm Cove and is a testament to our incredible food, ambient location and 5 star service.

The 2019 competition was our Executive Chef Ben Canham's fourth tilt at the title, previously receiving 1 first place and 2 second place titles in the last decade.

Ben's career spans 20 years and an impressive line-up of restaurants, including Villa Romana, the Salt House, Perotta's, the Waterbar & Grill, the Shangri-La and more.

The Reef House has blown through the C'est Bon - Shangri La rivalry to claim the title of 2019 Cairns Restaurant of the Year.

The win snatched the title away from the city and brought it home to the Coral Sea lapped shores of Palm Cove.
