Approval to extend free visa-on-arrival facility for three months

We just been informed that the Cabinet of Ministers of the parliament of Sri Lanka has granted their approval to extend the free visa-on-arrival scheme for 48 countries for a three-month period, from 01st of February, 2020 onwards.

The proposal for the extension was tabled by the Minister of Industrial Export and Investment Promotion Prasanna Ranatunga.

The free visa scheme will take effect once the official gazette is released to the relevant authorities. We estimate this will take a few days or a week.

We will keep you informed when the visa fee exemption is finally executed.
