Tourism Noosa's Winter Campaign Entices to Warm Up in Noosa

As temperatures continue to drop down south, Southerners are being tempted to visit Noosa, thanks to Tourism Noosa's winter campaign - This winter, warm up in Noosa.

The campaign has commenced featuring a highly targeted digital media campaign across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram and YouTube into Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Adelaide.

There is digital advertising with Fairfax via TheAge.com.au as well as News Corp's The Herald Sun and Daily Telegraph (Sydney) online. Print advertising also appears in the domestic airline magazines for Virgin, Jetstar and QantasLink.

The 'Noosa' tram has also returned on inner city routes in Melbourne giving people heading to and from work on a cold Melbourne day, a touch of colour with Noosa's beautiful sparkling blue waters from Noosa Main Beach.

The key call-to-action for all activity is a dedicated campaign page on the Visit Noosa website which features holiday deals provided by participating Tourism Noosa members. The digital campaign clip is also featured.

Tourism Noosa's CEO Steve McPharlin said “Our strategies are about getting the right balance between a healthy tourism industry delivering exceptional experiences for visitors whilst also protecting our beautiful environment for both our visitors and our community. We have a focus on 'value over volume' which means rather than trying to get more visitors to Noosa for a holiday, we are targeting our interstate visitors who stay longer and therefore spend more. Since actively targeting the interstate visitors, we have seen these markets increase over the past four years" Mr McPharlin said.
