Known for her show-stopping desserts imbued with a sense of fun, the 'Punk Princess of Pastry' has turned her creative eye to everyone's childhood favourite, the iconic Barbie.
In this perfect school holiday escapade, Barbie devotees will savour such delights as Rainbow Trifle, Fairybread Cake, Barbie Macarons and Shake, along with Vegetable Sushi, Chicken Sandwich and oh-so-fluffy Scones.
'I still love playing with Barbie dolls with my niece, as she's part of all our childhood memories. I want family and friends to have fun, eat epic desserts and enjoy the deliciousness of my new Barbie High Tea menu', said Polyviou.
The lower Lobby Lounge will be festooned in Barbie pink, including a retrospective photo wall of Barbie throughout the years.
Barbie lovers can also party with Polyviou at a special Barbie birthday party she will host on 6 July 2019. Sweet devotees will embark on a delicious menu of delights, including High Tea, a Rocky Road workshop, DJ spinning tunes and a take-home gift of Barbie doll and Barbie cookbook.
The Barbie High Tea, priced from $50 per child and $65 per adult (adult price includes a Barbie Doll), is available daily at The Lobby Lounge from 5 to 28 July 2019, between 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.; 1:15 and 3 p.m., and between 3:30 and 5:15 p.m.
The Barbie Birthday Party is priced at $95 per person, between 11 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. on 6 July 2019.

Executive Pastry Chef Anna Polyviou turned her creative eye to Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney's sweetest experiences, becoming known for her celebrated high tea, dessert degustations, Sweet Street festival, Christmas Spectacular and inventive menus. Chef Polyviou is a judge on the prime-time cooking competition Family Food Fight, has appeared as a guest judge on MasterChef Australia for three years in a row and has published a best-selling cookbook, Sweet Street.
