Phoenix, Arizona, tourism video and full-length editorial feature launched by travel media company Ink for American Airlines.

Each month in 2019, American Airlines American Way magazinewill select a new travel destination. In January, it's Phoenix, Arizona.

Mayor Thelda Williams of Phoenix, Arizona, said: “Phoenix has a vibrant arts and culture scene, great local cuisine, unique small businesses, and a deep sense of community that makes the city come alive and draws visitors,” said Mayor Thelda Williams. “We are excited Ink and American Airlines partnered to feature Phoenix in American Way magazine to showcase some of the best of what Phoenix and the surrounding region have to offer.”

Debbie Johnson, Director of the Arizona, Office of Tourism said: “Arizona is the heart of the American Southwest, which is a region so many travelers love,” said Debbie Johnson, director of the Arizona, Office of Tourism. “And Phoenix is, by far, the easiest fly-in destination for a visit to Grand Canyon National Park and all the activities at the south and north rims. Of course, the Grand Canyon is just one of 22 national parks and monuments in Arizona, and tourists who have travelled here before tend to want to see more parks, more dramatic landscapes, more Arizona cities and towns.”
