HEAD TO REGIONAL NSW THIS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

With the Summer holidays in full swing, there is no better time to jump in the car with the family and explore Regional NSW this school break.

Minister for Tourism and Major Events Adam Marshall said there is certainly no shortage of sights and experiences in Australia’s number one tourism and events State, with every corner of NSW offering something unique.

“Why not visit a country farmers market to taste quality NSW produce, hit the surf at a pristine beach on the South Coast or take a walk in one of our beautiful national parks up North?

“We also have an extensive calendar of events with highlights such as the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour, Toyota Country Music Festival Tamworth and Surfest in Newcastle, to name just a few.”

Mr Marshall said growing tourism in rural and regional areas is a top priority for the NSW Government.

“Tourism is all about encouraging people to see and experience more of our stunning State and ensuring they have a great time, but it’s also critical to sustaining business and creating new jobs, especially in country towns to ensure communities thrive.”
