If anywhere does Australia Day well, Sydney does! If you're not sure how to enjoy the day too it's max...here's a plan we put together for you!
Wugulora Morning Ceremony
26th January 7:45 am - 8:30 am
Walumil Lawns at Barangaroo Reserve
Head down to Barangaroo Reserve bright and early to witness the world's oldest culture. The Koomurri Aboriginal Dance Troupe will perform a smoking ceremony, followed by the singing of the national anthem as the Aboriginal and Australian flags are raised on the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Ferrython
26th January 10:45 am - 11:30 am
Sydney Harbour
Pack a picnic and head down to the Harbour foreshore to cheer on your favourite ferry in the annual Sydney Ferrython. The race starts at Circular Quay and heads to Shark Island before heading back to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. The best vantage points include Bradfield Park, Blues Point, Hicksons Road Reserve, Overseas Passenger Terminal, & of course the Sydney Opera House.
Salute to Australia & Harbour Parade
26th January 11:30am - 2:00pm
Sydney Harbour
The HMAS Choules will appear to a stirring 21-gun military salute from Bradfield Park. You can then join a crowd of epic choirs from across NSW to sing our national anthem and watch the sky come alive as RAAF fast jets soar over the harbour. This is shortly followed by a parade of boats of all shapes and sizes covered in flags and bright colours...a site to be seen for sure!

Sydney sure knows how to put on a show and the Australia Day Live concert will be sure to top off your day with a bang...literally!
