Greetings from Ōtautahi Christchurch!

Cultivate Christchurch
Spring has sprung, the days are getting longer and the temperatures are rising - high time to get off the couch and explore the outdoors.

A great Christchurch based company ramping up for the new season is Cultivate Christchurch, an urban farm growing fresh vegetables for local restaurants while also running an incredible programme for disadvantaged youths. Not to mention their big project next year as part of the new inner-city Farmers Market on Cashel Street.

The Christchurch bouldering community is excited to welcome Uprising Boulder to the city. This brand new venue is the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

With all these exciting projects, roll on summer!

Urban farm to feed Christchurch

Social enterprise, Cultivate Christchurch, is using a vacant site in the city as an urban farm to grow fresh seasonal produce for local restaurants and cafes. But it's not just about growing good produce. They are also changing the lives of young people taking part in their youth programme.

Uprising Boulder Gym

Christchurch set to become a climbing mecca

Christchurch's climbing scene is being transformed with an old brewery turning into a state-of-the-art climbing venue. Uprising Boulder Gym is Christchurch's only facility dedicated to bouldering, a discipline of climbing making its Olympic debut in Tokyo in 2020.
