Our guests love the Winter race known as the Etchells. This spectacular boat on boat race is back again and mere minutes separate the fleet when every tack could be the difference between winning and losing. It's one of the best yachting events in the world right here off our Mooloolaba beachfront! Leading the way this year is John Bertrand but there's lots of world class skippers who intend to put the trophy in their cabinet this year! Don't miss this thrilling event June 7-10.

Each year it attracts thousands of visitors and locals alike with an amazing fireworks display, live music, busking, animals, Monster trucks, spirited speedway cars, show bags, stunning sand sculptures, competitions and so much more. The event helps keep our history alive, unites country and city and locals as well as businesses get to promote their talent, share their skills, knowledge and achievements, and showcase their brand.
