Cambodia King Norodom Sihamoni Coronation Day

October 29 celebrates the coronation of Preah Karuna Preah Bat Sâmdach Preah Bâromneath Norodom Sihamoni Preah Mohaksat Nai Preah Reacheanachak Kampuchea; roughly translating to His Majesty, King Norodom Sihamoni of the Kingdom of Cambodia. His given name, Sihamoni, comprises two morphemes from his parent’s given names, Sihanouk and Monineath.

If October 23 falls on a Saturday or Sunday, a public holiday is observed on the following Monday.
