Australian future soul group Hiatus Kaiyote will perform their unique and kaleidoscopic vision as part of Vivid Music at the City Recital Hall at 8pm on 26 May, 2018.
Since appearing at Vivid Sydney in 2016, Hiatus Kaiyote has gone on to become one of the most sampled bands in the world, featuring on Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Damn’, Drake’s ‘More Life’ and included in music by Chance The Rapper, Anderson Paak and Rhapsody.
Vivid Music curator Stephen Ferris said, “We are excited to add two times Grammy nominees, Hiatus Kaiyote to our Vivid Music line up with their contemporary Australian soul. Their unique combination of jazz, soul, funk, fusion, hip hop and electronica is set to leave fans wanting more, the future of soul is in good hands.”
