Nearly VND4.2 billion for cultural preservation in Gia Lai Province

The Central Highlands Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee has allocated nearly VND4.2 billion (around USD184,250) for the implementation of the cultural development objective program.

The money will come to the project on preserving and promoting cultural heritage values at Street 7 Victory - Song Bo relic site in Ayun Pa Town, Pleime Victory relic site in Chu Prong District, and Pleiku prison relict site in Pleiku City.

In addition, it will be used to preserve the tradition and history of the Jrai ethnic minority group in Plei Oi village in Ayun Ha commune, Phu Thien District; and to implement the project enhancing the investment for building and developing cultural institutions, including cultural products for ethnic minority groups, communes in the third region and ethnic boarding schools.
