''Ogawara Hitome Senbon-zakura'', located in
the Ogawar town of Miyagi prefecture.
Are you prepared to enjoy the beauty of Tohoku's Cherry Blossom?
Spring is just around the corner and we'd love to share some great spots around Tohoku to have a blissful time with your families and loved ones enjoying the natural beauty of various cherry blossoms.
It’s a spectacular sight to see nearly 1,200 Sakura trees line up along Shiroishi Riverside in Ogawara town and Shibata Town.
The area is named as “Hitome Senbonzakura” translated as 1,000 Sakura tress at a glance.
The snow-covered Mt. Zao in distance creates a projection of seeing a romantic movies set.
