Cherry blossoms in Oka Castle ruins

The Oka Castle is beset with the deep valley on every side and so it had a reputation as an impregnable fortress in the past.

In the ruins, more than 1000 cherry blossoms are planted and for its beauty, it is designated as one of Japan's 100 top cherry blossoms viewing sites.

The view from the top of the ruins is a superb view.
