Australia's First Aerial Park Opens Doors

In time for Christmas and the summer holidays, MegaAdventure Aerial Park (MegaAdventure) has opened its doors.

The highly anticipated opening saw more than 100 guests descend on the park to be one of the first to do the SkyChallenge. These guests climbed the SkyMate - a 26 metre high structure that boasts 50 crossings which are graded like ski slopes that aim to challenge and excite alike in a fun and safe environment.

Alex Blyth, owner and Managing Director of the MegaAdventure Group said he was delighted to finally have the doors open for business.

“We are so proud to launch. It has been a massive team effort and we are thrilled with the final result. We are the first structure of its kind to launch in Australia and certainly one of the largest in the world.

“We have used the latest technology for not only the design and build, but for all the harnessing and equipment – your experience here really will be first class,” he said.

The impressive structure consists of scramble nets, rope bridges, beams, swings, log steps and even an aerial row boat and picnic table.

“There are plenty of challenges to keep you entertained, but we also have the ability to easily update, change and move crossings, on top of the additional 70 obstacles that will roll out over the coming months,” said Blyth.

The park will also service corporate, educational and Christmas functions that will be managed by Corporate & Groups Manager, Jane Altschwager (aka former Diamonds netballer) who said that she was excited about the interest to date.

“MegaAdventure is perfect for businesses who are looking for something new and exciting to do with their employees and clients. Early bookings and interest have been really exciting,” she said.

MegaAdventure has been 30 months in the making, cost $2.5 million dollars to build, created 20 local jobs and set to employ more over the coming months.

It is the perfect Christmas gift idea. Prices start at $32 to do the SkyChallenge, $5 to do the SkyWalk and $10 to do the MegaBounce and receive a 5% discount when you purchase online.

MegaAdventure is located within Adelaide Shores on the corner of Military Road and Hamra Avenue in West Beach.
