Sydney’s famous attractions can now be accessed at the touch of a button, and with a spot of pedal power, following the launch of a new GPS-guided audio cycling tour.

The tours of Sydney’s CBD and Manly Beach were launched by Sydney Bike Tours this week and utilise the growing network of bicycle paths in the harbour city. The tours safely guide riders to a selection of Sydney's attractions, using both on-screen directions and audio navigation, via a standard smart phone.

The app can be downloaded from either of their two locations via WiFi, and do not require a data connection whilst cycling.

The “Bike the Bridge” tour over the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge is the most popular ride. Alternatively guests can cruise the harbour-side board walk, past the city’s iconic park lands to the Fish Markets; ride along the world famous Manly and Bondi beaches, and even spot whales from North Head. At each destination, guests will hear in-depth commentary covering the history, culture and unique stories of life in Sydney.
