New Hotels Continue to Debut throughout China

Element Suzhou
Now is an exciting time to visit China, and the new hotels cropping up throughout the country offer visitors even more options for their stay while in the destination.

Two new properties opening this month are the Element hotel in Suzhou and the Six Senses resort at the Qing Cheng Mountains.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of its first Element brand hotel in the Asia-Pacific region, the Element Suzhou Science and Technology Town.

Suzhou is a rapidly growing city just west of Shanghai that is known for its national parks, canals, bridges, classical gardens, and now its tech-driven industries.

The new Elements property is convenient to the Sunan Shuofang International Airport and offers 188 guest rooms, meeting space, business center, and more value-conscious, eco-friendly amenities.

Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain also opens this month, at the gateway to the picturesque Qing Cheng Mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage & Natural Culture site.

The resort is also less than an hour’s drive from Chengdu, known for its famous Giant Pandas. Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain will offer 113 luxurious guest rooms, ranging from suites in duplex villas to courtyard, garden and pool suites.

Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain
The property boasts a 18,400-square-foot Six Senses Spa, multiple dining options (including farm-to-table organic dining options), meeting space, pools, outdoor movie theater, tennis, and more.

These two properties are just a few among the many properties in the pipeline for development throughout China.
