Visitors to The Travel Industry Exhibition 2015 will be taken off the beaten track, with tour operator Himalayan Experience set to exhibit at the show.

Operating both the Himalayan Experience tour company based in Australia, and Kathmandu Eco lodge, located in Nepal, the business is set to provide inspiration to travel professionals who are looking for new destinations in 2015.

“We are a wholesale travel agent, running trips to the Himalayan Region of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan, India, Myanmar & South East Asia. We specialise in group, individual and custom design tours – so we are able to suit a range of travellers and interests with best value,” said Dipak Dhamala, Director of Himalayan Experience.

According to Mr Dhamala, the Himalayan Experience team has a passion for exploring the remote corners of the world, with fifteen years of adventure travel experience behind them in Nepal and its outer regions.

The team has extensive knowledge of the area, the landscapes, people and cultures, providing a unique experience and ensuring its travellers are in the most capable hands.

Its Nepal accommodation offering, Kathmandu Eco Hotel, is located at the bustling tourist hub of Thamel, however it is designed to help its guests to feel calm and energised. The hotel aims to introduce a sense of tranquillity, promoting relaxation, balance and refreshment. With overseas trips often being tiring, Kathmandu Eco Hotel provides a much-needed escape and rest.

“We believe The Travel Industry Exhibition will assist us in expending our network of travel agents and introducing our business to others in the industry, which is important in spreading the word about the services and best value price we provide, and the possibility of Myanmar & South East Asia as a new destination,” said Mr Dhamala.

The Travel Industry Exhibition Portfolio Director, David McCarthy, said having exhibitors such as Himalayan Experience and Kathmandu Eco Hotel on board adds some great diversity to the event.

“We are thrilled to see our exhibitor range expanding to those offering exotic trips such as that offered by Himalayan Experience. I’m sure it will open up the possibilities and inspire show visitors to explore the region as a potential new destination for future trips. We are excited to see what Himalayan Experience and Kathmandu Eco Hotel have to show us at The Travel Industry Exhibition,” said Mr McCarthy.
