Tourism boards, International wholesalers and airlines from Asia will be amongst the types of exhibitors at the Travel Industry Exhibition this year. One of the exhibitors is Korea Tourism Organization.
PR and Marketing Manager, Korea Tourism Organization, Jennifer Doherty expressed her anticipation for the event saying, “Korea Tourism Organization is pleased to have the opportunity to meet with travel professionals to educate and update them on Korea and why it has become a very attractive destination for Australian travellers.”
Doherty further said, “Korea is a safe, friendly and dynamic country with much to offer Australian travellers. Last year, over 140,000 Australians travelled to Korea to experience its rich culture, history and its many UNESCO World Heritage listed sights.”

Further to the East, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) has also confirmed their participation at the event.
Executive Director, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) Sydney, Hiroshi Kuwamoto had said “This year we’re delighted to represent Japan for the first time at the Travel Industry Exhibition.
We invite visitors to stop by and visit our stand C17 to discover what makes Japan a leading destination for Australian travellers, with record visitor numbers in 2014 (23.8% increase).
Interest in Japan is higher than ever with the upcoming 2019 Rugby World Cup and 2020 Tokyo Olympics.”
Kuwamoto went on to say, “We look forward to the opportunity to meet with our valued travel industry partners and strengthen our relationships further with them.”
