Poland Convention Bureau (PCB) is riding high on ecstasy post being
declared the winner of two awards at an award gala of the MP Power Award
held in the Conference Centre Muranów in Poland on April 26.
The PCB won two awards in two categories in which it was nominated.
Aneta Książek – Main Conference Specialist won the MP Power 12
Convention Bureau award, while the project “BACK TO THE GARDEN” was
appreciated in the “CSR in the events industry” category.
The MP Power Night is the final of the first competition devoted to
the events industry and looking for the best executions and practices in
all of its sectors in Poland. On this night, awards and distinctions
were also given to the Creative of the Year in the Events Industry and
the Young Creative of the Year in the Events Industry.
“Apart from felicitating the most influential personalities of the
branch and honouring the best productions and projects, the MP Power
Awards aims to support professionalism in the event industry and build
awareness on the value of its tools, viz event marketing and incentive
travel, point to the efficiency of marketing and communication
activities in this field,” said Sylwia Banaszewska, managing director of
MeetingPlanner.pl.

competition. I am glad that our actions and efforts were appreciated by a
wide group of experts. The MP Award competition is not only a great
opportunity to promote the actions of Poland Convention Bureau of the
Polish Tourist Organisation, but also draw attention to the value of the
meetings industry, as well as activities of the Convention Bureaux and
people behind it,” commented Krzysztof Celuch, Head of the Poland
Convention Bureau Polish Tourist Organisation.
