Hilton Surfers Paradise has launched Australia's first 'What Kids Want' Holiday Survey, aimed at gaining feedback from children on their ideal holiday experience. The survey researches a range of topics including preferred holiday destinations, special arrival features, room features, favoured meal selections, and what kids like to do for fun while on holidays. Hilton Surfers Paradise general manager Chris Partridge says the survey is a genuine attempt for the hotel to find out what kids want, with view of tailoring the offering for youngsters at Hilton Surfers Paradise. The 10 question survey is available online until 31 May 2013 via the hotel's website and facebook page. Hilton Surfers Paradise is currently offering a 20% discount on rooms and dining for stays 13 March - 31 December 2013, if booked prior to 30 April 2013.

Wyndham Introduces Children's Green Initiative to Gold Coast Resorts
An illustrated "green team" has been spreading an important message to children staying at Wyndham Hotel Surfers Paradise and WorldMark Resort Kirra Beach over the school holidays to demonstrate the importance of recycling, reusing and reducing our impact on the planet. The Wynnie and Friends Green Adventure introduces Koru the Kiwi from New Zealand and Tiko the Turtle from Fiji who will join the existing character Wynnie the Wallaby, teaching young guests about the importance of preserving the environment.  The program has followed on from Wyndham's Wynnie the Wallaby's Green Adventure which was launched across hotels and resorts managed by the Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific group in early 2011.  Due to the program's popularity the two new wildlife characters, native to the South Pacific, have been introduced to spread the message even further. Wynnie and Friends includes a new-look activity booklet featuring Wynnie, Tiko and Koru, incorporating environmental messages with games including quizzes, crosswords and a board game.

Australian Outback Spectacular Celebrate 2000 Shows
The unique Queensland dinner show Australian Outback Spectacular (AOS) has celebrated their 2000th show on the Gold Coast after having entertained more than one million people since opening in 2006. Australian Outback Spectacular is a one-of-a-kind $23 million extravaganza which has been wowing audiences by capturing the grandeur of the Australian Outback while highlighting uniquely iconic Australian bush characters. The Escarpment Retreat Joins Forces with Tamborine Cooking School
The Escarpment Retreat and Day Spa, a boutique luxury accommodation on Tamborine Mountain, has joined forces with Tamborine Cooking School to further enhance the Hinterland Food and Wine Trail. This is the first time that an accommodation on Mt Tamborine has teamed up with a cooking school to produce a package that incorporates luxury accommodation and local cuisine instruction. To promote the push for visitors to enjoy local experiences, The Escarpment is heavily subsidising mid-week cooking class fees for guests that stay two nights. Course participants will only pay half price out of the normally $120 per person fee. The eight course classes are run by professional chef and experienced teacher Terri Taylor who uses local produce, including cheese, fruit, vegetables, meats, seafood and wine to produce delicious Mediterranean, modern Australian and Asian dishes. Black Angus Launches Unique New Fine Dining Menu and Wine List
