WITM-MITE 2013 to Promote and Develop the Malaysian Travel Industry

The WITM-MITE (World Islamic Tourism Mart- Malaysia International Tourism Exchange) 2013, an event designed to promote and further develop the Malaysian travel industry, will be held from June 6 – 9 at PWTC (Putra World Trade Center), Kuala Lumpur. However, the Soft Launch of WITM-MITE 2013 was done on 19 February 2013 at Panggung Bandaraya (Dataran Merdeka), Kuala Lumpur.

Furthermore, it intends to additionally nurture the tourism and related industries, globally. The dynamic combo expected to attract thousands of visitors globally, undeniably, is a tremendous platform for consumers in general and corporate buyers in particular with the promoter and supplier of the travel services to outstretch and achieve from their establishments.

This event is jointly organized by Malaysia Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) and My Events International in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB).

The industry has persistently shown significant growth with 25 million tourist arrivals in Malaysia in the year of 2012. The momentum is expected to elevate this year and the years to come.
