The Rhapsody of the Seas Cruise Ship will be docking in Newcastle Harbour, N.S.W.. Australia
on 14 November as part of its 11 night Queensland
cruise that departs the previous day from Sydney.
It will also visit Cairns Port, Willis
Island, Airlie
Beach, and Brisbane
before returning to Sydney
The Rhapsody of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship, was
built in 1997 and is 915ft long. It has a 11-deck atrium and has dramatic
walls of glass and retractable canopy. Passengers can enjoy magnificent ocean
views, and relax in the soothing Day Spa, swim in one of the two pools, take a
much-needed whirlpool or catch up with friends over a favourite drink in one of
its eight lounges.
The capacity of the Cruise Ship is 2,435 passengers and 766 crew,
and has a Kids Club catering for or 7 different age groups. The Show Lounge has
daily shows There are 2 Swimming Pools, 6 Whirlpool Spas On board activities
include Art Auctions, a Casino, Dance Classes, Gym, Internet Facilities, Jogging
Track, Library, Live Music, and a 30 foot high Rock Climbing Wall. The
two-deck-high “Broadway Melodies Theatre” features nightly entertainment
ranging from Broadway-style production shows and dance spectaculars to international
entertainers.
