For his first-ever music residency, legendary horror maestro John Carpenter will be taking over The Belasco in Downtown LA for four concerts. The residency marks the first time he's played live since 2018. Carpenter will be joined by bandmates Cody Carpenter and Daniel Davies to perform music from classics like Halloween, The Thing, Escape from New York, The Fog, They Live and more. The band will also perform original music from the Lost Themes albums.

One of LA's best Tiki bars, the Tonga Hut in North Hollywood presents the 12th annual Monsters & Mai Tais on Sunday, October 26. The festivities include a Kirby/Grog mug release, parking lot sale and art show, music from DJ Tonga Tom and live performance by Dark Entities. Bring your costumed pooch to join in the fun of the Mutt Strut! The parade of pups is so popular that it will be happening twice on Sunday, at 2pm and 4pm.
