Tropical North Queensland is celebrating some exciting news – Savannah in the Round, the region’s premier country music and camping festival, has been confirmed for another four years. Thanks to the Queensland Government’s continued support through Tourism and Events Queensland, this much-loved festival will keep the music playing from 2026 through to 2029.

After another spectacular edition held in Mareeba from 9–12 October 2025, the announcement of Savannah in the Round’s future is music to the ears of fans and locals alike. Since its debut in 2021, the festival has become a must-attend event on the Australian music calendar, drawing crowds from across the nation and overseas.Each year, audiences are treated to a dynamic line-up of international, national and local artists spanning country, rock, roots and pop.
