School holidays drive visitation

Queensland is set to be the top holiday destination for Australians this winter with 21 per cent of Australians intending to visit between June and August. The influx is driven by interstate visitors, particularly from New South Wales, which saw an eight per cent rise in intended visits compared to last year. Additionally, a seasonal boost is expected from international arrivals from Europe, North America and North Asia.
