The annual Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing is held at Gatcombe Park, home of HRH The Princess Royal.
Eventing is an equestrian event where a single horse and rider competes against others across the three disciplines of dressage, cross-country, and show jumping.
This event has its roots in a one-time cavalry test that required mastery of several types of riding.
Top international riders will compete at the festival including tackling the Captain Mark Phillips’ cross-country course.
Family entertainment in the main arena will include the Shetland Pony Grand National; the Pony Club Mounted Games; Scurry Driving and Ye Olde Redtail Falconry display.
The food market will sell local produce and international food, there will be a shopping village and the Park Bowl a picnic area with views of the action.
Visitors can upgrade their experience with Hamptons Festival Pavilion Membership, with entry to the ringside seating and dining area and a two-course buffet lunch.
