Post Covid-19 & The Journey Ahead For Ari Lanka

This month, Sri Lanka is beginning to see its island wide curfew being eased, district by district for the first time in nearly two months. Never in our island's history, have we seen our lives and our economy grind to such a halt, and it's forcing organisations big and small, and people all over the world to re-evaluate how we will live and work in the future. How will we in the travel industry reinvent ourselves for a healthier, happier and more sustainable future in travel? What will we do differently? What sacrifices will we make for cleaner air, brighter skies?

Keep Dreaming, Keep Planning

Adam's Peak from Colombo
A view of Adam's Peak from an apartment in Colombo, and the trail of lights that guide the path to the summit. This is the first time in well over a decade, that we in the city have been able to catch a glimpse of the sacred mountain so clearly from the capital. And it's been even longer since the sky has been clear enough to see the trail of lights. One of the positives that has come from this pandemic is that nature is thriving! We've had sightings of a black panther in the hill country, and all around us, the sound of birds and nature have replaced the sounds of traffic.

Elephant Island
Wild elephants feed and bathe on the banks of a lake in Sri Lanka, which is ranked among the best places in Asia to see wild elephants.
