The World's Best Winter Runs and Resorts Revealed: Luxury Escapes Magazine

The winter issue of Luxury Escapes Magazine is out now, with a special feature on the best winter runs and luxury resorts around the world.

We take you to Switzerland's new Ski Arena Andermatt-Sedrun, where there are 120 kilometers of runs, and to the highest hotel in the French Alps, the new Refuge de la Solaise in Val d'Isere. In the United States explore the hangout of the rich and famous in Telluride, while in Wyoming's Jackson Hole you can hit the slopes at the recently opened Solitude Station. Japan is hot on the must-travel list this winter season, so we explore all there is to do in Niseko where you can ski four interconnected resorts on one pass, then bunk down at the soon-to-be-opened apartment-style Hinode Hills in the heart of Niseko village.

Also in this issue, we take a dip in the thermal waters of Tuscany during a road trip to Saturnia; head to Vienna where the coffee culture is so important it's listed with UNESCO; and closer to home arrive celebrity style on a seaplane in Tasmania's pretty southern central region of Derwent Valley.

There are also the best highland hideaways around the world from a farm stay in Connecticut to lodges in Swedish Lapland. Plus, we take a luxury cruise to Antarctica to discover what it's like to explore this icy continent.

Subscribers go in the draw to win a luxury ski getaway to Japan for the grand opening of the Hinode Hills in Niseko, flying All Nippon Airways.
