The move is part of the second phase of a JICA-funded program aimed at promoting green growth throughout Ha Long Bay.
The destinations that will be visited during the first tour include Quan Lan Communal House, Linh Quang Pagoda, and Tran Khanh Du Temple.
The second tour consists of a range of exciting activities that allows visitors to explore the life of fishermen in Quan Lan island and enjoy a variety of local specialties.
Lai Van Toan, vice chairman of Quang Ninh Tour Guide Association, said these tours have played a significant role in improving the income of local residents and providing tourists with a fresh perspective of the daily life of fishermen. Such in-depth guides of areas have gradually become a trend among tour operators both worldwide and in Viet Nam.
Mr Toan emphasised the need to stabilize the price of tours, particularly the fees of electric cars in order to provide visitors with a wide range of tourism options.
