Ubud Food Festival 2019 Presented by ABC is three days of cross-cultural culinary discovery with Indonesian food as the star. Indonesia's leading food event, the festival is a celebration of the archipelago's diverse cuisines, extraordinary local produce and rich culinary heritage. Indonesia's most outstanding chefs, producers, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, food photographers, storytellers, scientists and activists will converge in Bali for the fifth Ubud Food Festival from 26–28 April.
“For our fifth year we chose the theme Spice Up the World to show food lovers across the globe that it's time they added some Indonesian dishes to their list of favourites, and through this, learn something about Indonesia,” explains UFF Founder and Director Janet DeNeefe. “Food is, after all, the easiest way to access a culture.”
UFF is renowned for bringing together local food heroes to collaborate with chefs from across the world, ensuring Bali and Indonesia shine among the world's top dining destinations. The first speaker line-up for UFF19 is now live, with the remaining line-up of speakers and ticketed events live on 25 February, 2019.
“We're thrilled to announce the first round of speakers joining us for our fifth year,” says DeNeefe. “The culinary collaborations between international and Indonesian chefs at Ubud's top restaurants and resorts will strengthen cross-cultural exchanges and professional opportunities. Bali is now a global dining destination and we'll be tasting the best of the island at UFF19. Things are about to get very, very spicy!”
