Fiji Set to Welcome New Pullman Nadi Bay Resort & Spa

The Pullman brand is set to make its debut in Fiji on the 19th of April 2019 with the launch of the Pullman Nadi Bay Resort & Spa – a vibrant new destination where local culture connects with all things contemporary.
The multi-million dollar Pullman Nadi Bay Resort & Spa sits directly on its own secluded corner of local-favourite, Wailoaloa Beach, a largely unexplored stretch of shore on Nadi Bay. For guests, that means 180 degree, uninterrupted ocean views, bookended by vistas of Fiji's most recognised mountain, The Sleeping Giant.
Time-conscious travellers don't know it yet, but this resort will soon become their favourite location based on its central address alone. Pullman epitomises the benefits of a 'fly in/fly out' destination, with less travel time ensuring more 'unravel' time spent at the spa, bar and pool. A 10 minute-drive from Nadi International Airport and its commercial centre in one direction and an equally speedy 10 minutes to Port Denarau's entertainment precinct makes it one of the most convenient resort addresses in the Fiji Islands.
Deliberately decadent, with a designer's eye for detail at every turn, Pullman's newest international address has been crafted under the careful eye of not one, but two talented architects - one Fijian and one Singaporean. The result is a cosmopolitan coastal resort complete with Fijian hospitality, subtle Asian flavours and a dash of Palm Springs-inspired design 'cool'.
A towering cathedral-style bure and striking art installations ensure an elegant arrival, but the sun-drenched piazza style playground at the heart of the resort is where guests will really want to be. Full of energy and activity, without sacrificing serenity, Pullman's palm-lined hub is designed around four pools - an adults-only pool, a separate children's pool and two family pools.
Rooms and Suites
Pullman Nadi Bay Resort & Spa offers 236 rooms and suites, including 36 deluxe interconnecting rooms and 4 accessible rooms, ideal for families and groups travelling on a tropical getaway. All rooms have balconies or patios and feature premium Pullman bedding, Pure Fiji toiletries and high-speed Wi-Fi (which is also available throughout the resort).
For true luxury lovers, it's impossible to look beyond Pullman's 12 stunning direct-beachfront suites. Guests in these suites can open the doors direct to Wailoaloa beach every morning with a coffee in hand (made from Pullman's in-room Nespresso® coffee machine – a standard in all Pullman Nadi Bay Resort & Spa Suites).
Cuisine Scene
Pullman's eclectic bar and dining scene takes inspiration from big city cuisine and cocktail trends, reinterpreting them for resort life. Four vibrant signature restaurants and three bars are available, offering all-day, casual or more elegant dining options.
From welcome drinks in RO Bar in the lobby, to all-day dining in Magiti Restaurant, casual dining in Dan Dan Noodle Bar, or something substantial at Barefoot Bar & Grill - there is something to suit every taste, age and budget. When happy hour calls, Pullman's own mobile herb gardens ensure Fiji's freshest muddled cocktails and mocktails are on hand at every outlet.
For something truly special, Pullman has created an exclusive 'adults-only' bar and dining venue Kah, which caters for up to 40 guests, and features a beachfront deck with direct access to Wailoaloa Beach. The concept is simple yet sublime – premium Thai-inspired dining accompanied by stunning sunsets over the ocean.
Play and wellness
Pullman's beachfront water-sports centre inspires ocean-based adventure, with hobie-cats, jet skis, quad-biking and many other options available onsite. Sea Planes – ideal for day trips and island hopping – fly in and out less than 500 metres down the beachfront.
To complement its adults-only spaces, Pullman has created a dedicated Kids Cluband separate Teens Retreat for younger guests to enjoy.
Pullman's on-site day-spa, Veikau features six bures that radiate from a central wellness zone, each room named to represent its own Fijian flora totem – a botanic philosophy that flows through every spa experience via a plant-based menu of holistic treatments. Guests who prefer to raise their heartbeat can enjoy the fully equipped gym, which offers both indoor and outdoor workout spaces, and two tennis courts which are located onsite.
Taking care of business
Pullman's Soqoni Ballroom is the resort's standout indoor venue, and can cater for up to 500 people (theatre style). The ballroom's entrance - located directly off the main resort foyer and boasting contemporary Fijian art – is an ideal enclave for upscale entertaining and hosted cocktails on arrival, before the main event.
Two additional private meeting rooms - including the Wailoa Boardroom - cater to smaller meetings. All event options are accompanied with state of the art audiovisual equipment, Wi-Fi, dedicated event specialists and innovative catering, tailored to suit the exact style and requirements of each event.
The flexibility of having its own uninterrupted beachfront means endless possibilities for conferences and events in the open air. The duality of its restaurant and bars also allows for private, catered functions in adaptable spaces. The private beachfront can be adapted for other events incorporating traditional lovos and pop up tipis and marquees.
The resort is an ideal venue for a destination wedding in Fiji, and engaged couples can take advantage of Pullman's beachfront wedding chapel, accompanying ceremonial lawn, or palm-lined direct beachfront location, to tie the knot in front of family and friends. With an enviable northwest facing location, the chapel and beach guarantee perfect Fijian sunset views, with picture-perfect vistas of Fiji's famous 'Sleeping Giant' mountain range beyond.
