Autumn is here and so is one of our biggest events of the year, the Mooloolaba Triathlon Festival - March 17. The buzz this event creates is electric with thousands of triathletes and spectators descending into our beach town. It's a Tri Swim, Bike, Run and Party, a spectacle not to be missed. Book early for your apartment to get the best views of the race.

Ladies it's International Women's Week so grab your friends and come celebrate on the coast, with events that ignite passion, thought and laughter. The gorgeous Azamara Quest cruise ship visits our shores March 3 and there's live music all day on St. Patrick's Day at O'Malleys Irish Bar, including the world famous Mooncoin & Tis.

If you have a pair of trainers, a mountain bike, and a real sense of adventure, the Maximum Adventure Race Series is definitely for you, there's trail running, mountain biking and kayaking March 16. They've even included a Novice option and all you need is a sense of adventure.

Mooloolaba Swim Festival

There's two point to point long course ocean swims in this years Mooloolaba Swim Festival, March 2-3. The festival takes place over two days with a 2.5km swim from Alex to Mooloolaba and the popular 1.6km Mooloolaba Mile. These exposed water swims are challenging for swimmers and thrilling for spectators. There's heaps of great festival events for the whole family including Sunrise Yoga, shuttle buses to help you arrive and an outdoor cinema Saturday night.

Opera in the Castle

Opera in the Castle offers you an evening of culture and amazing voices March 29-31. Just a few minutes from Mooloolaba at Bli Bli experience the magnificent Banquet Hall of the Bli Bli Castle resonating with some of Australia's finest voices.

There's complimentary canapes served during interval and audiences are limited to only 100 to ensure an intimate extraordinary experience. The castle creates unforgettable acoustics and a night never to be forgotten.
