Destination NSW has released a new fact sheet on the importance of tourism to NSW and its contribution to the State economy.
Based on the latest State Tourism Satellite Accounts report from Tourism Research Australia, NSW continued its national leadership in tourism employment with 262,000 direct and indirect tourism jobs in 2016-17.
Tourism consumption of international and domestic visitors to NSW reached its highest level on record at $40.5 billion.
