ANANTARA RECOGNISED WITH 17 CONDÉ NAST TRAVELER READERS’ CHOICE AWARDS

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas is pleased to announce that 17 hotels and resorts have been recognised in the 2017 Conde Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. The prestigious US magazine has announced the results of its 30th annual awards, which saw a selection of Anantara’s luxury properties recognised as amongst the very best in the world.

Anantara Hua Hin Resort in Thailand was named #1 Resort in Asia, in addition to #9 Best Resorts in the World, a fantastic achievement. Qasr al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara in Abu Dhabi held its spot as #2 Resort in the Middle East, with Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel snagging #3 Hotel in Bangkok – great results in these hugely popular destinations.

Amongst the accolades, six Anantara hotels were included in the Top Resorts in the Middle East category, with five of them back to back including #6 Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, #7 Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara, #8 Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara, #9 Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort and #10 Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resorts. A new entry to the list is Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort, which came in at #5 Top Resorts in Europe.

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards are the longest-running and among the most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry and are commonly known as “the best of the best of travel”. This year, the awards received votes from over 300,000 readers for 7,320 hotels, 610 cities, 468 cruise ships, 255 islands, and 194 airports, resulting in 1,859 of the best travel experiences in the world, including some of Anantara’s finest properties and locations.
