HAN is a non-profit membership of artisans from the Hunter who carefully hand pick stallholders to ensure that shoppers have an array of local, handmade, unique, original & quality products, making Art Bazaar an affordable opportunity for both the public & the creative people of Newcastle and the Hunter. Enjoy meeting the artists and designers who have carefully created for the reputable event providing access beyond the boundaries of the gallery.

The Throsby Big Brunch draws inspiration from the Sydney Crave Food Festival which includes a number of regional activities and runs during the month of October. More importantly, inspiration comes from a desire to reinvent the dining experience and strengthen an evolving community spirit that is becoming a hall mark of life in the five Throsby villages.
In a world of take-away food and eating on the run, the experience of sitting at a table to enjoy good food and conversation is something of a lost art. This is the defining feature of this event – it is many people sitting at a communal table, taking time to enjoy the food, meet new people and celebrate living in a great community.
Anyone from the Throsby Villages of Carrington, Maryville, Islington, Tighes Hill and Wickham can RSVP to reserve a spot at the long table to celebrate and share your culinary talents or seasonal harvest.
Hosted by Tighes Hill Village Community, Great Lifestyle of Wickham inc. (GLOW) and kindly sponsored by Port Waratah Coal Services
