Dong Thap Tourism Week to welcome New Year

Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap will organise its first ever Tourism Week entitled “A Place Where Four Seasons Blossom” in Sa Dec City on January 7-14.

The week will seek to popularise images of local landscapes and people, traditional flower villages and craft villages, historical and cultural relics, particular tourism products and local cuisine.

It would highlight the roles and contributions of local residents, horticulturists, floriculturists, chefs and others.

Visitors can see more than 2,000 types of flowers, visit the Sa Nhien-Ca Dao Flower Street and try many kinds of cakes and buy products made from flour at three places - Sa Dec Park, Tan Quy Dong Flower Village and Tan Phu Dong Flour Village.

On this occasion, the organizing committee will set a new record called "Viet Nam's Largest Flower Waterfall" with 12 meters height, made from more than 2,500 baskets of flowers of Sa Dec Flower Village.
