Celebrate The Festive Season In Singapore

Singapore is celebrated for its diverse yet harmonious melting pot of cultures, including people of Chinese, Eurasian, Indian, Malay and Peranakan backgrounds. No matter what their cultural background, Singaporeans pay respect and homage to each other's religious days of significance with Buddhist, Islamic, Hindu and Christian holidays included within national public holidays.

Christmas takes its place alongside Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Hari Raya as a significant celebration and must-see festival of experiences. Just like Australia/New Zealand, visitors can take in the festive spirit whilst enjoying tropical weather in Singapore, but there is also a range of exciting events too, set against a fun and exciting backdrop of lights and decorations. If you know where to look… you may even be lucky enough to spot Santa himself, his reindeers or some real snow! See below for our top picks of celebratory Christmas (and New Year!) activities.
