Christmas in Paradise will have you dancing in the street with roving performers, acrobatic elves, Santa-roos and Christmas characters spreading cheer from 1 - 4pm daily in Cavill Mall.Warm up your singing voice for a long list of carolling events held in the lead up to Christmas. On December 13 enjoy live entertainment, face painting, barnyard animals and a Santa appearance from 4.40pm at Christmas by the Sea in Palm Beach parklands.
WEDNESDAY
December 14 brings the talented Silvie Paladino to the Arts Centre Gold Coast with 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' from 11am. Add some sparkle to your grown up Christmas with tickets only $29.50, bookings essential.Let the professionals inspire your carolling voice at Musica Palazzo, Palazzo Versace's series of live operatic performances from 14 – 23 December. Relax in the Opera Lounge and be sure to purchase a teddy from the Teddy Bear Christmas tree in support of local charities.
THURSDAY
Two sets of carolling events on 15 December will see voices raised at both ends of the coast. Relax at with seaside carolling at John Laws Park for Burleigh Heads Christmas Carols at 5pm; or head to Sanctuary Cove for Carols on the Green at 6pm with performances by renowned tenor Rocco Speranza and the magical Matt Hollywood.WEEKEND EVENTS
As the weekend approaches be ready for a sleigh full of Christmas events to choose from. Wake up as early as the kids do on Christmas morning for Christmas Markets at Broadwater Parklands from 4am - 10am daily on December 16, 17 and 18.From 10am - 4pm make the most of the sunshine at Sanctuary Cove's three day Christmas Carnival on the Village Green where kids can ride reindeers (ponies) till their heart's content.
An annual family favourite, White Christmas at Warner Bros. Movie World is making it snow in summer each night from Friday to Sunday.
FRIDAY
'Ho ho ho' all the way to the hinterland on December 16 for the Mt Tamborine Twilight Markets at the Bearded Dragon Hotel. Grab some crafty gifts and enjoy a movie on the big screen with free entertainment and activities from 5 - 9pm.For Christmas lights all in one place check out the Festival of Lights Christmas Competition at Gainsborough Greens, December 16 at Pimpama. Lights go on from 5.30pm for the judging to begin.
SATURDAY
With more carols than you can poke a candy cane at, December 17 will see the coast harmonising from north to south. Head to your local area and soak up the community spirit.Upper Coomera: Christmas in the Park, Highland Reserve, 5 - 8pm.
Nerang: Nerang Celebrates Christmas, Bischof Pioneer Park, 3 - 8.30pm.
Helensvale: NightQuarter Christmas Carols, 4 - 10pm.
Southport: Carols on the Broadwater, Southport Yacht Club, 4 - 7.30pm.
Currumbin: Community Christmas Carols, Galleon Park, from 5.30pm.
SUNDAY
Feel good about last minute Christmas shopping and relax at The Village Marketsfrom 8.30am – 1pm. Soak up the atmosphere and rejoice in supporting local creative businesses.Get ready for the Gold Coasts largest carolling event on December 18 from 6.30 - 8pm at Surfers Paradise Carols on the Beach. Hosted by former Hi-5 member Charli Robinson, the beachside performance will see special guests Humphrey B. Bear and Blinky Bill take to the stage to delight the littlies. Watch the awe inspiring fireworks display with family and friends as they light up the sky over the sea from 8pm.

Reflect on the true meaning of Christmas at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre hosting The Glory of Christmas Metro Church from 6.30 - 8.30pm. Bookings are essential for this free event.
